The UNIVERSE^® 2400 is an excellent choice for those designers that want an exterior weather seal but do not want exposed silicone.  A dry-cured extruded gasket is applied on top of field applied silicone sealant.  Unlike sealant, the gasket does not leach or streak, thereby perserving the aesthetics of the panel system.

The unique ball attachment method allows non-progressive installation and individual panel removability without disturbing adjacent panels and without impacting system integrity.

The panel is able to thermally expand and contract by rotating around the extrusion ball.

Joint width is 1/2" and joint depth options range from flush to a recess of 1".  Joint consistency is enforced to ensure fit and finish.

Sealant in the joint serves as the weather barrier.

The extruded gasket can be provided in a range of colors comparable to silicone sealant color ranges.  Black is the standard color.  Small quanitities of custom colors may be a substantial premium.

Fully tested to current code requirements including AAMA 501.1-83, ASTM E283 (@ 6.24 psf), ASTM E330 (@ 15 psf), and ASTM E331 (@ 40 psf)
