Universe Corporation is pleased to announce that a version of the Universe® 7000 Trespa Meteon cladding system has received a NFPA 285 multi-story fire test equivalency rating and, therefore, can be used on high rise construction applications. This version is called Universe® 7000-285 and the application designer must strictly adhere to the established design guidelines for cavity depth, Meteon finishes and thicknesses, and adjacent materials.
With the availability of the Universe® 7000-285, architects and installers can now enjoy the same benefits of a horizontally attached extrusion system on high rise construction as they have on low rise construction.
